Come to boating school and enjoy the summer on the water!
As a new service, Buster Rent offers a boating school for beginners at its Raisio rental point. The purpose of our practical course is to inspire and encourage people to get into boating and to teach them how to handle a boat safely and navigate the water.
The aim of the boating course is to teach the course participant basic boating skills and how to handle a motorboat through exercises and personal observation during the course. The course participants are also given electronic advance material, which serves as a review and support material after the course. The main focus of the day-long course is on boat control and safe movement on the water, without forgetting navigation and safe route planning. The aim of the course is to give the participant the skills to continue boating exercises independently.
The course is suitable for anyone interested in boating, no previous boating experience is required. The course instructors are active boaters who have worked in various roles in maritime rescue and maritime patrol for a long time. The minimum age for participants in the course is 15 years. The course is carried out in small groups, group size 3-5 people instructor.
Course dates and location
All courses are held at Raisio Marina, Hahdenniementie 1, 21120 Raisio. Meeting point in front of the Buster Rent rental point (office container). Full-day courses start at 10 am and last 6-8 hours depending on the number of participants. Two weekday evening courses start at 5 pm and last 3-4 hours depending on the number of participants. The course day also includes a snack break.

Course price and content
The course price is 299 euros and includes guided practice in a small group, electronic course material distributed in advance, and a lunch package. The course fee is paid upon registration. Any cancellations or changes to the course date must be made no later than three (3) days before the start of the course.
